Location:

The Hotel Posada del Mar is located directly across the street from a beautiful white sand beach on the turquoise Bay of Mujeres. Cancun is in the distance. We are 4 blocks from the main pier and downtown. The very popular Cocos Beach is within walking distance of our hotel.

Description:

A small Caribbean Style hotel, set among lush tropical grounds, consisting of 30 rooms in a main building with 3 floors and 12 rooms in a 1 floor bungalow building. The restaurant and "swing up" bar overlooks the swimming pool accentuated by a colonial style aqueduct, creating a waterfall into the pool.

Accommodations:

Main building (Superior) Rooms are ocean view and have two double beds or one king size bed, tile floors, individual air-conditioning, ceiling fan, shower and balcony. Bungalow (Standard) Rooms overlook the swimming pool and have two double beds, tile floors, individual air-conditioning, ceiling fan and shower.

Family Plan:
Isla Mujeres and the Hotel Posada del Mar are an excellent combination for children. Two children, 11 years and under, can stay FREE in the same room with two full paying adults.

Restaurant/Bar:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at our Palapa Restaurant, next to our swimming pool. Enjoy your favorite beverage, at our festive wooden bar, with swings for chairs.

Swimming Pool:
    
A colonial style aqueduct provides a waterfall into our swimming pool. When our guests are not out exploring the island, they are lounging around our swimming pool.

Watersports:
All types of watersports can be arranged at our beach club or at the front desk of the hotel.
