Cozumel

Cozumel - is the largest island in Mexico (33 miles
long and 8 miles wide), and located 12 miles off the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. Cozumel
is a paradise playground and a rarity in today's travel world. It has maintained a laid
back, relaxed pace and a distinctive Mexican culture, yet it has all the services of a
larger travel destination - shopping, variety of restaurants, nightlife, beaches,
watersports, and world-class diving!

Situated eight miles off the coast of Cancun, Isla Mujeres, or
"island of women," offers a tranquil alternative to the bustling mainland resort
areas. The island is blessed with beautiful beaches, exquisite sunsets, and is ripe for
relaxation and discovery. Discovered by Spanish explorer Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba
1517, Isla Mujeres has an interesting history behind its name. Cordoba found the island
while searching the region for slaves and gold. It was in an abandoned state, yet
decorated by semi-clothed statues of the Mayan Goddess Ixchel.
The island is five miles long and less than a mile
wide, which allows easy access to the interesting attractions. Visitors will find most
sightseeing opportunities are either a short walk, a bicycle ride or golf cart drive away
from the resort area (bicycle and golf cart rentals are aplenty). The beaches are a main
attraction here, with waters that fade from fluorescent lime green at Playa Norte to pale
turquoise at the snorkel-worthy Garrafon reef.

On Isla Mujeres, the major beaches are on the north
and west sides. The north side's most popular and crowded beach is Playa Norte. More
secluded beaches appear on the west side, such as Playa Paraiso, Playa Lanchero and Playa
Indios, which are known for their shark pens. The Manchones Reef, Banderas Reef and
Cuevones Reef also provide for wonderful scuba diving and snorkeling. There is also much
to do without getting wet, like visiting the Isla Mujeres Turtle Farm, the Mayan Temple
(dedicated to the Goddess of Fertility) and the Lighthouse, which marks the tip of the
island.

Huatulco

Huatulco (wah-TOOL-co) offers a natural beauty unmatched by any area IN
THE WORLD. Huatulco's nine bays and surrounding areas are home to an abundance of
untouched beauty, with over 36 pristine beaches and many inlets and coves, each with its
own unique setting.
Huatulco is known for its crystal clear blue pacific waters and very friendly Oaxacan
people who are happy to assist you in any way possible. Huatulco is 300 miles south of
Acapulco with a average year-round temperature of 84 degrees f.

Tangolunda Bay is the grandest of all Bays and the most suited to upscale international
visitors, with over six beautiful resorts complemented by an 18-hole golf course and a
full selection of water sports.
The two towns in the Huatulco area are the small charming La Crucecita - with its Oaxacan
crafts and beautiful new church, with many shopping and dining opportunities - and Santa
Cruz, a small marina where all the water sport action begins. |

Puerto Vallarta is an honest-to-goodness Mexican town as well as
a world-class resort, so visitors here enjoy a wider range of experiences than your
typical vacation destination offers. Plus weve got all the requisites for that
much-anticipated trip down south weather as good as it gets (similar to
Hawaiis, but the peso gives you a lot more bang for your buck), gorgeous scenery,
100 km of pristine beaches on the bay where Puerto Vallarta is situated (Banderas
Bay, Mexicos largest and deepest, and home to award-winning sport fish, giant
turtles, manta rays, dolphins and whales), more than a thousand restaurants, and every
imaginable activity to engage in even flying through the tree canopy!

Ixtapa
Zihuatanejo - Located beside one of Mexicos loveliest beaches, Ixtapa was
selected for development as a vacation mecca some 30 years ago. A generation later, Ixtapa
shimmers with opulent hotels, swank boutiques, and Epicurean restaurants. In laid-back
Zihuatanejo 3 miles away, local fishermen still dock at the municipal beach to sell their
catch. Splendid locations make both towns ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing in
the sun.

Manzanillo

Manzanillo
Manzanillo has two parts - the resort area on
the Santiago Peninsula, and the busy commercial area downtown and to the south. Manzanillo
is a busy port town - but still retains its tranquil, laid back feel and authentic Mexican
atmosphere.
Downtown, near the main plaza (Zocalo) you'll find typical scenes with colonial
style houses and little streets that meander away and take you on a tour around this very
Mexican town.
The centre of Manzanillo and the dock areas have recently undergone major renovation
works. At the centre of the redevelopment is a new giant turquoise
statue of a Marlin - Manzanillo's 'official fish'!

Cabo San Lucas
Cabo San Lucas is one five main locations
in Baja California Sur - which include La Paz, San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos and Loreto.
All of these places can be discovered individually with Mexperience!
Cabo San Lucas - 'Cabo' means cape - is at the far end of Mexico's Baja Peninsula, the
land immediately south of the United States, cut-off from mainland Mexico by the Sea of
Cortez, sometimes also referred to as the Gulf of California.
This region of Mexico is a real paradise - with its hot deserts, and cool, warm breezed
oceans; its waters reflecting several different shades of blues and greens.
The region is a particular favourite with divers, golfers and people looking to take part
in sports fishing excursions.

Acapulco
Thanks to its dazzling discos, bars, and clubs, Acapulco is the
#1 choice with party lovers. Honeymooners fall in love with the resort's tropical beauty
and festive Mexican atmosphere. The area also appeals to families, thanks to several
parks, calm beaches, and CiCi water sports park for children. Acapulco's cliff divers are
an institution and is a sight not to miss.
